Mission: To advance the interests and to promote the welfare of children, the economically disadvantaged and homeless people in the downtown Long Beach area.

 

We have two programs that advance this mission: the Drop-in-Center and DAYS. Read more about them below:

Drop-In-Center

Vision: To serve homeless people and those in need by the provision of temporary refuge, food; and empowering those with a desire to stabilize and improve their lives.

The Drop-In-Center is a community center for homeless people and those in need in downtown Long Beach. Providing a nutricious meal, a 16 station computer lab and a haven from the streets on Sunday afternoons.

Downtown Associated Youth Services

Vision: The Downtown Associated Youth Service (DAYS) Committee believes that all children and youth ought to have access to inspiring programs offered in a safe space that create strong relationships and awaken the imagination.

DAYS summer camp is offered free-of-charge to children and youth in Long Beach. Please visit the DAYS program page for more information.
